The FEMA Intergovernmental Affairs Division and DHS Center for Faith and Opportunity Initiatives (DHS Center) invites stakeholders from non-government, faith-based, and community organizations to receive an update on FEMA and partner operations related to Hurricane Florence.

The Directors from each the DHS Center and Intergovernmental Affairs will open the call with a brief introduction. High-level operations updates will be provided by national leadership from FEMA Individual Assistance, the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters (National VOAD), and the FEMA Office of Disability Integration and Coordination. Their remarks will be followed by information regarding Hurricane Florence efforts from each the FEMA Region IV Voluntary Agency Liaison, North Carolina State VOAD, and South Carolina State VOAD. We will then open the line for questions from partner organizations and faith leaders.

Please share this invitation with any colleagues or partners involved in Hurricane Florence response, and interested in learning more about how FEMA and non-governmental partners coordinate to help people before, during, and after disasters.
