Resource And Promotion of Health Alliance, Inc. and the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s EyeCare America program, are partnering together to provide access to medical eye care for eligible individuals through EyeCare America.
Older people, those with a family history of glaucoma and African Americans are at significant increased risk for eye disease. Glaucoma often has no early warning signs. Early detection by getting a medical eye exam can preserve sight. EyeCare America has helped nearly 2 million people since 1985. More than 90% of the care provided is a no-out-of-pocket cost to the patients.
